Is there any way to uninstall Explorer 7?

INTERNET EXPLORER 8 , How can I uninstall this?

  • Ok. So I had 7 it was not working right. I installed 8. Well I cannot uninstall 8 now. When I go to Microsoft it says I have 7 installed. So Microsoft won't let me install 7 back. In my pc it says I have 8. I am so confused, so frustrated, and so very annoyed right now. I tried to just delete 8 all together off my pc. Since it won't let me uninstall. Guess what? It tells me I have to have permission on my OWN computer! So I am really upset at this point that I do not have total access to my own computer. What is up with that?? I am running windows vista. I can run Firefox perfectly fine. But I want to fix the other browser too. I want my pc to run right. Besides that I keep getting updates that are forcing its way to install for Explorer 8. I can not make those stop. B/c it messes with my virus protection. OMG! PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE PLEASE!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! :)

    You have firefox running perfectly fine but you want IE sorted out as well, I had the same feeling when I bought my new laptop. I wanted everything to be perfect, so I hear ya. You need to uninstall IE all together from your system, reboot your PC and then download IE7 via the internet using firefox. I'm sure this would fix.

Just go to the control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Internet Explorer 7/8 - Remove If it does not work Just Format the computer

If you try to reinstall 8 again it will cancle out the first 8 and before it downloads simply cancle it.
