What to do about unruly bottom eyelashes?

Okay, my bottom lashes (mostly at the corners) are really unruly and going in different directions, some of them even curl down. It looks horrible, but I don't know what to do about it. I want to make them straight without using mascara, actually mascara is the reason they got like that. I applied it once and it ruined them forever. I thought I could just wait it out until they all fell out and grew in again, but it's been 3 years and they still look terrible. So help?

Answer:
I would suggest you go to a salon that does eyelash tinting, etc. They may have something that could manage those lashes without having to use mascara. Lots of luck!!
