How much should I charge for in home child care for two small children?

  • I am a stay at home mom. I have two children ages 6 and 3. I am already looking after a 1 year old for 8 hour days 3 days a week.that parent pays me roughly $33.00 a day. I was asked to look after a 1 year old and a 3 year old for roughly 4 hours a day 2 or 3 days a week by another parent. I was thinking of charging $35 a day for both kids. Is this a reasonable amount?

    I think thats a good deal. Here in texas at home childcare is 135 a week per child.
