Why does my lower abdomen feel bruised?

Soreness of abdomen and hard feeling?

• Today would be the first day of my 8th week, I had bleeding during my 4th weeks, thought it was a miscarriage but my hpt test are getting darker, after my period I was getting negatives, but 4 weeks after it I'm getting dark positive lines and its been happening very gradually. I am now 2 months, and my abdomen is very sore, it's not cramping, and it doesnt feel like any cramping I've ever had..it just feels like my abdomen has been kicked, or bruised or something, it only hurts in certain positions, its nothing extremely painful its just a dull bruising feeling. No bleeding or spotting either, im not sure what this is or if its normal. Also, about half a inch below my bellybutton im feeling a round orange like hard spot, could that be my uterus? I know its way early, and this is my first time, but I do feel it, and I dont think its my bladder because I don't have to pee when I poke it? I mean, it could be twins, or could have been twins since I bleed..no idea can anyone shed any light

  Well first if you are having these kind of worries the internet is not the best place to go. I would advise you to call your OB and talk with her about it. She may want you to go in to see her. Second, soreness of your abdomen is normal during pregnancy. It is called Round Ligament Pain. It is from the uterus growing. The only time you should worry is if you have bleeding, and if it is a sharp, consistent pain that you can't relieve without changing positions, or something. If you are still worried I strongly suggest you speak with your OB.
