How to relieve stress when it feels like there's no way out?

I'm going through some high stress levels for about 5 months now due to family and school issues... and it's getting the best of me. And I know the situation why, but there's no way to change it. Or at least that's how it feels like right now. I've tried doing activities that I like, but those activities actually gave me MORE stress, since it all led to a big letdown. And I do have a journal, but that doesn't even help. Tried crying, but the more I cry, the more I keep thinking bad thoughts, and let down my self esteem. So how can I relieve it? And without a psychiatrist or counselor, because I can't get one right now.

Tricky one to answer as each case of depression or anxiety is different. It depends on the cause, whether or not its solvable or not. If its arguments or the way people act towards you or even with eachother, you need to put your foot down, inform them how it's effecting you and discuss with them what needs to be done to change it. Im all for keeping things to myself for the sake of others but if its effecting you that badly then you have to say something otherwise you will get worse and the worse you get the harder it is. I've been suffering from depression/anxiety for a long time now and I've been with my quck for over a year now. It's a terrible place to be, I dont like seeing others go there. There will be more helpful people than me but I offer my help all the same.

When I am very stressed out, their is only 2 things I can do about it. A. I drink. B. I do something I love and am good at which for me is drawing, playing poker, and skateboarding.
the activities you tried...was one of them yoga?? Yoga is one of the greatest ways to relax your mind, body and soul. Doing any physical exercise in general is a great stress reliever. But that means you put ALL 100% of your effort into it, not a half *** job. Also, trying something new might take your mind of your stress, such as signing up for a new arts class for example, take a friend if you'd like. Hope this helps:)
I have been exercising every day and that helps a lot!!! Some days I run like crazy on that treadmill and other days I just walk uphill on it.. It has really helped me!!!

Pills cant fix you- you have to be fixed from the inside- pills are just like a bandaid. Hurting people hurt others. Theres nothing wrong with you its the people who are mean to you. They are sick and being mean makes them feel better. People/kids/parents do mean things or lie and control. They just want the reaction so they can get high feel good from it. The words are not true. They have a problem. When you have a bad past/rejection/father gone it lets other things start. Cutting, OCD, anxiety, panic attacks, hearing voices can all come from a tramautic past. Its opens doors to the negative and they start to dwell closeby. You can talk to me or google "emotional abuse" and see all the definitions and see its all true. Knowing the truth is the step to freedom from pain. Negative people and abuse brings spiritual problems so praying to get rid of negative things of a spiritual nature is often needed after years of abuse. Its not you its them. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. Collosians 3-21 1. Read online about verbal abuse. Read 20+ sites. 2. Realize its their problem. 3.
