-
I have been riding for a long time but always miss shifts with mx boots, the current ones are alpinestars and i have no feel with the shift lever. any advice on positioning my foot or tips? i am riding a 125 mx bike now and if the shifts are not well executed i dont have the luxury of torque to help me out

Answer:
Alpinestars are great boots but I know what your not feeling. Best thing I can tell you is to bend your shifter slightly outward and/or straighten it a bit. Check around for other alternative shifters for you bike, I had a Husky that needed a different shifter BIG time and found an aftermarket one with about one inch longer extension that worked great. Good luck! Added - Sorry, that Husky shifter was shorter, not longer than stock.
