How do I erase all pictures without doing them individually?

How to erase text writing on pictures without ruining the backround on paint?

• Im making a Dragon Ball Z video. Actually a Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi wish list video and for each catigory I do I want to play the episode title music but with the catigory written on it. Its hard to explain. If you have ever watched DBZ then you know that after the opening and stuff it would show the episode title like "A devestating Blast" and it would be on a cool backround with dragon balls all around it. Say I was using that episode title picture, I want to erase "A devestating Blast" and put my catigory like Story Mode. Im trying to do that but when I erase the letters it erase's the backround as well. So I want to know is how can I erase the text without taking the backround out with it?

  tip: dont use paint! (on windows) theres a program called gimp that can help you do this with the clone tool and airbrush tool to erase any unwanted things from a photo, and theres plenty of tutorials on how to do this too so hope i help :) btw gimp is free and way more easyier to use than adobe photoshop
