Why does my cat always want me to pet her while she eats?

    You do realize that if you keep doing this you won't be able to stop. While it may seem cute now; it won't be when she wants to eat at 4 am in the morning...better nip that in the bud right now. If anything scratch her behind the ears as she is going to eat, but don't follow her. She will still eat never fear.
