Why can't my TI-84 Plus connect to my computer?

Extra network added to computer, now cant connect to net?

  • Ok, so my nephew came to my house and tried to get on the internet. Not sure what he did but somehow he added his computer network to our router. Now when you click "connect to" it asks to connect to either the default network (what we've always used) or to ICEFOX (which is his network). It wont connect to the default, and asks for a security key for his. How do I remove him from the network list?

  • Answer:

You should log into your router, as long as your nephew did not change the UserId or Password. You will have to change the network and SSID to something that you want, not default as that can cause problems if other people move near you and use the default as well. You should make add WAP security to your wirless connections, and add a MAC address allow list. I also turn off the ability to manage the router from a remote or a wireless connection. So you have use a direct cabled connection to make changes. Then your nephew cannot make changes to the configuration. After you make the changes, scan for wireless networks and his network will disappear.

Other answers

shut both the router and the modem off for about 5 minutes and turn them back on. Try to connect again, you might need to re-enter the pass-phrase

Try un installing all networks then reinstall yours and go through all the steps you need to Next time he comes over tell him do not do anything to the settings or add a network to it
