How to change my nat to open?

How to change nat type from strict to open on Xbox Live.?

  • Okay, I've been stuck with a strict NAT type on my Xbox FOREVER. I've tried pretty much everything. My UPnP is on, firewall is down on my router, I have ports 88-88, 3074-3074, 53-53, 80-80, 27000-27050. Those five I have forwarded. I have a CenturyLink ZyXEL P-660HW-D1 v2. My IP address is 192.168.2.1 The only options that I have to still do that I think might work, is change it from routing to bridging, not sure what that will do and I cannot figure out how to do that. When I check for ports needing to be forwarded, I see UDP 88, UDP 3074, and TCP 3074. Not sure what UDP and TCP mean and how I can change my ports that are forwarded to them. Anyone know how to fix my problem? I'm completely stuck.

    Buy a new router that is Xbox live compatible. I had to do that a long tike ago
