Why do I lose the mobile broadband installation?

on my netbook whenever I remove my dongle? When I remove it to put the netbook away when I re - insert the dongle I have to uninstall the software again and re - install it. I have windows 7, with virgin mobile broadband

Try install it and then restart your computer straight after , if it still doesn't work try and see if it is compatible for Windows 7.

Dongles are just supposed to work when you plug them in. The fact that you are needing to install / uninstall the software would suggest an incompatibility with Windows 7. Check to see if your dongle provider have released any patches for Windows 7, sadly this can often take a while to happen as windows 7 is still relatively new.
