MAC problem. It's my friend's computer.?
-
My friend was at work and supposedly the fan on her mac was running the whole time she was at work and when she got home, she shut off the computer. Then when she restarted it, MAC displayed a message saying she had to hold the power button for a few seconds, then restart it. But it doesnt do anything for the computer. Does anyone know what's wrong with the computer?! Please help!

Answer:
First of all it's, Mac, not MAC. Second, that is called a kernel panic. Start up the computer and hold down the Command key and the V key until lines of text start scrolling. Then it should stop and it will display what caused the kernel panic, if you aren't technically inclined, then bring it to a geek friend or an Apple Store as they can help diagnose the problem.
