Is it me or are S-video cables hard to insert?

Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected?

  • I tried to reinstall windows 7 on my computer and went to the BIOS and selected CD, nothing happened except the bios saying "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected?". My windows 7 and my windows vista disc both do not seem to work but it can run chromium ( a portalable os for usb ). i took the cables out my hard drive and plugged them back in and still nothing works. Any suggestions?

  • Answer:

Your CD/DVD drive probably isn't working. Try booting the chromium OS and see if it can read files on the CD.
