How do I get my downloads to go to my second hard drive?
-
I have two hard drives: my main one(C:) and my second one(D:). C: drive has only 950 MB left and so I need to direct my downloads to my D:, which has 178 GB of free space. I've gone to "Tools<Options" and changed the location of the downloads to D:, but when I download, it will download to D: but the file will take up space only on C:. I need help and I've tried looking everywhere, but no answers. How can I make D: the default drive where my downloads go AND make it so that the space is taken up in that 178 GB of free space? Also, I'm operating with Windows Vista.

Answer:
Open your windows explorer, do a single click on the downloads folder then click the "Organize" tab. On the drop down menu, choose properties. A box will pop up then click the "Location" tab. From there you can set your preferred download location. Peace out.
