Is there a way to lower screen brightness?

Is there any way to turn up the screen brightness on a dell inspiron b130?

  There should be a way to do it from BIOS. If you know how to access it, then look for battery conservation, and look under screen brightness. Change the percentage there, and that may work. If all else fails, you may need to replace back light.
