Playing xbox and recording with a dazzle on my pc monitor?

hi, im looking into buying a dazzle. i want to record playing xbox on my pc monitor. its a new 2011 asus gaming monitor, but its hdmi. so it doesnt have a ton of inputs and outputs. so i was wondering if theres a way i could connect the dazzle to my monitor or pc and record from my monitor not a tv like everyone else shows, is this possible? and could i hook up a headset to use voice over the recordings? or is there a way i could talk in the videos while recording with the dazzle, i really need your help thanks!
