Is it possible to adjust the display brightness on my Dell Latitude?

I need some help with my monitors.?

  • Ok well today i hooked up 2 17inch monitors which is really cool, but my problem is this, basicly they are 2 different monitors, 1 is a dell the other iiyama, the problem is that i cant seem to adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation..etc so that they both display the same colors and stuff, right now the dell is brighter and the colors are being displayed differently to the iiyama, i have tried tweaking it and have managed to get them almost the same, but it doesnt feel right. Is there an app that can measure the differences between the two and configure the settings? Thx

  • Answer:

in the controll panel of your display drivers you should be able to individually adjust them

There may some color calibrating applications but for any video walls that we've had setup at work, the company installing it always had some handheld device that measured the the output. They would then adjust to get them to match very well, at least for a couple of weeks. After that, the brightness seemed to change enough that you could more easily notice the panels in the video wall. Likely any software only solution would not work perfectly since the feedback is from the monitor itself. I think you'll need something that measures essentially the same as what your eye is viewing.
