How to get maximum speed while using n73 as modem with laptop.?

  • i have bsnl 3g sim. earlier i was using 3g modem. now it got damaged. so i am using my nokia n73 as internet modem. but not getting the 3g speed. so can any body advice me in this regards? how can i increase the browsing/ downloading speed? fyi, earlier i was getting a speed of 3.1 mbps. now i am getting 921 kbps. please help me.

    When u r connected open device Manager (right click My Computer->Manage->Device manager) Expand modem select ur modem and right click and select properties under Modem->maximum port speed select the maximum value and click ok. Disconnect ur device and connect again Its will get the maximum speed ur device or service supports
