HOW TO GET TO POWER JACK TO CHECK ON CONNECTIVITY ON HP LAPTOP?

THERE IS A POWER SUPPLY CONNECTIVITY ISSUE. IT WORKED WHEN I PUSHED AND HELD THE PIN.THE ADAPTOR WORKS AS TESTED ON ANOTHER LAPTOP. I WOULD LIKE TO OPEN THE LAPTOP TO CHECK ON THE POWER JACK. HOW DO I DO IT?
