What is the smallest available Mosfet with basic functions?

Which motherboard?? Gaming with 9950 OC'd but MOSFET issues?? help!!10 pts!?

Does the MSI have a MOSFET heatsink???

  First, the basis of your question is not really logical. For example, if I didn't like a particular motorcycle because the gas tank top was sharp and cut my leg, would you then go looking for another motorcycle whose gas tank top wasn't sharp? No, since not every motorcycle has a gas tank where the top is accessible. Just because one motherboard needed MOSFET heatsinks to overclock doesn't mean another will. For example, a motherboard with 6 MOSFETs may need heatsinks badly, but one with 18 MOSFETs won't, because each MOSFET is dissipating less heat. So the sensible question is to ask which motherboard overclocks better, not compare them micro-feature for micro-feature. The MSI motherboard is better overall, and has a better MOSFET design. It uses integrated driver MOSFETs in the form of multi-chip modules. Theses modules can produce up to 150A each without a heat sink. They can get as hot as 120C without a problem. They are very reliable and efficient because they are designed and tested as a unit from matched components. It is very unlikely that the MOSFET temperatures are going to be your limiting factor when overclocking, unless you are water cooling. (Because the large heatsink fan assemblies use provide more cooling than the MOSFETs need due to air circulation.)
