Connecting my iMac to my HDTV wirelessly?
-
CAN THIS BE DONE? I want to wirelessly connect my iMac to my HDTV so that I can use applications on my TV. I'm not talking about just video files, so Apple TV is not what I want. I just want my HDTV to act as a monitor. The reason I can't just use a min-DVI to HDMI cable is because my desktop is 75 feet away from my TV, cables that long cost $300 and don't work that well. So, can I do this wirelessly? I'd be controlling the computer with a Bluetooth keyboard.

Answer:
Because the HDTV needs so much data, there is no way to connect the TV to a computer wirelessly. One solution is to purchase a converter to another, older video output. One that both your Mac and TV support.
