Computer Keeps restarting at startup?

Sadly, you are getting an error when Windows is loading. When it fails to startup it is crashing and auto-rebooting. You can disable this in your bios and see what the error might be. Your best bet: Take your computer to your friendly computer geek or store and have them back up your important data. i.e. pictures, music, documents, and anything else you can think of. (A repair shop can do this without starting Windows) Then have your hard drive "wiped" and reinstall windows. You can try to do a windows recovery or check disk or system restore, but more often then not, "wiping" your system is the best and fastest way to get your computer back to normal. Good Luck

IF Windows 7, get into bios, change the start up sequence to CD first, then restart, with the Windows 7 CD in the slot. It will allow you to repair your computer. Try System Restore first, and if that doesn't do it, try doing a "repair only"., which will take more time. I don't know about Windows 7, I haven't done it yet, but you might be able to do a chkdsk from that cd disc.
