I need dvd decoder.

I need a dvd decoder that works with win xp media player?

  • i found a dell optiplex 320 in the trash no hard drive no mem no video card added all that and it works fine exept the dvd cd/rw cd works have nero for burner but no dvd decoder?

  • Answer:

You mean DVD authoring software? First off, it's not clear that you have a DVD burner. I'm sorry if I got this wrong, but does the "RW" apply to both the CD & the DVD aspect of the drive? My first CD-RW burner was also a DVD reader, but not a DVD burner. For DVD authoring software, I recommend DVD Flick. I first used DVD Flick on my Vista machine - I'd be surprised if it didn't work on XP. On my old vista machine, I used a pirated version of Roxio EMC 8, though it took sometime before I learned how to use it properly to burn video DVD's that would play on my TV DVD player. DVD Flick is much easier (and on my newer computer, much faster).
