How to hide a webcam? which brand to pick?

i have a webcam built into my laptop so i know nothing about them or how to install one or the right one to buy. i want to buy a webcam for my boyfriend so we can talk face to face (kind of a long distance thing) but his parents wouldnt approve of him having one. what kind of webcam is the easiest to use? i need a brand that is easy to remove and stash away if necessary.

Hey, There are a few small webcams on the market at the minute, what kind of price range are you looking at? The Microsoft Lifecam VX 800 is quite diddy and not expensive either, you would just have to plug it in and it should install it's self. He could then simply unplug it and put it somewhere safe just by unplugging the cable.
