My friend have a problem with his Mac?

Alright, I Have a question up about which mac to get and my friend just told me about a problem, is it true?

  • My friend is telling me that I should get an iMac not a macbook pro because the mac laptops just die. Like slow down and slow down and slower and slower and..i think you get the point...until they die or something. So is it true? and if it is, can you fix it?

after plenty of research i have come to the conclusion you will have a better experience with a PC, rather than a MAC, but Macs have the bonus of not freezing quite as much. a mac wont simply just die, unless there was a problem with your specific tower. but i like the newest version of the mac notebook. or the newest alienware pc's =D hope thats helpful (p.s. download avg free and scan your computer weekly at the very least, and dont download everything you see, and especially stay away from porno sites and you computer should be fine until you run out of RAM)

I just got an iMac and it rocks! Not sure about the problem with the macbook pro but I can assure you the iMac is a great computer. We also use Macs at work and we have no problems.

Pfft.. I think they have just had a bad experience with Mac's.. I doubt they just "die". Just like all computers they get cluttered with crap and eventually it will slow down, but it can be fixed.
