  • Heyy guys I have a question for everyone that knows how to use and/or actually use it... When I save a pic it saves it but let's say I go on Picnik.com and upload the pic it won't upload and also when I try and open it it doesn't work..?? Why does it do this?? I use photoshop on windows if that even matters... I have Photoshop CS4 :\ The little icon thing is a paper with some other little icons on it..:S

  • Answer:

Are you saving it as a Jpeg? How large is the file you are saving. Sometimes if files are too large they won't be accepted by sites for uploading.

You need to duplicate the photo and, save it as a JPEG. Photoshop will automatically save it as PSD unless you specify otherwise.

when you save it, put the title of whatever the picture is and put ".jpg" or ".gif" example: picture.jpg picture.gif

If you work on Photoshop, your file will be saved as PSD file, than can be for several photo editors, but not for Picnik. The best way to be sure your file will be read it for ALL photo editors, you have to save it on JPEG or JPG. You're probably saving it as a photoshop file. Save it as a jpeg or gif, everyone knows that's about all these internet sites will let you upload.
