DSi connection issues help?

• I just bought the new DSi a few days ago. I can use the internet and DSi Shop, but I can't communicate with the Nintendo WFC in games. When I try to search for my network, it says my security settings are invalid. I tinkered with my network a little and determined that my router brodcasts in WPA, and when I try to set it as WEP, my computer doesn't get the signal. How do I make it so the computer receives the WEP signal and my ds can connect?
