Who can help me with my iPod?

I need help with my ipod!!! who can help me?

  • i have an ipod nano that turns on and off but i cant scroll or select anything. on the top of the screen the pic of the lock is there but its not on hold. do i need to replace the battery or is there something that i can do to use it. ive had it for 4yrs and really dont want to throw it away.

    Take it to the Apple store. They can probably fix it, but putting in a new battery or whatever can be as expensive as buying a new one.

the only thing i can come up with is holding the "play/pause" button and the "menu" button at the same time. keep holding them down untill the screen turns black. then hold the "play/pause" button again till u see the apple symbol. if thatndoesnt work take it in.... hope u fix it!!!

Restart the nano by pressing the menu and center button, or, if you have all the music, plug it into your computer, completely restore it to factory settings, and put on all your music again. Go into an Itunes store also if you need serious help.
