Why do some songs NOT have album pictures?

Pictures on iTouch are all mixed up and wrong?!?

So one day I decided I wanted photos for as many songs as possible. So i spend several hours on different occassions googling album covers and manually adding them to my ipod (using "add artwork") they all worked out and everything was good. then I dropped my ipod into water. it stopped working for a bit but I used the rice trick and now everything works perfectly EXCEPT.. all the pictures are mixed up now & i have no idea how to fix it. For example any songs from the Avril Lavigne Album 'Let go' Have the Eminem Relapse Album picture! yet when I go into my itunes and look at what the album artwork is for the Avril Album, it shows the right picture? Has anyone ever had this problem, or know how to fix it?! please let me know!! thank you soo much =)

It happens to mine all the time. It will be fine sometimes and other times they're all mixed up. I haven't found a solution but then I haven't really looked for one cos it don't bother me too much. I think it's just one of thise things. Sorry I can;t be of much help x
