How to fix "dead" line of pixels on canon dslr camera?
-
I turned on my canon dslr to find that there was a vertical white line of "dead" pixels on my screen. it does not effect the pictures themself but its a little annoying to have a white line of nothing now the screen. the camera is a rebel xs that i bought about 2 years ago. if anyone knows what to do, how to fix it or who to go to that would be much appreciated. thanks

Answer:
Nothing else to do but let Canon replace it. Knowing Canon, they'll charge you an ram and a leg for it. Call them first but I guess you really have no other choice.

I have an XS that's about that old. The only thing you can do is have the screen replaced. I have no idea about the charge.
