How to fix my lenses on my digital camera?

What is wrong with my camera!? why does it do this?

  • okay i have a red kodak digital camera. ive only had it for like a year and a half. every time i turn it on it turns automatically back off. when i push the on button the main screen (company picture thingy) comes up and the lens pop out "as usual" then it turns right off. and the lenses go back in. i tryed charging it but it still does thaat. WHY IS IT DOING THIS??? BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY HOW CAN I FIX IT PLZZZ HELPP D:

    When was the last time you put new batteries in it or charged the ones you have? You can call Kodak and ask them to help you troubleshoot the problem.

Your battery pack might NOT be accepting a charge ... a year-and-a-half for a battery pack to last is about right, if you charge/use it a lot. Go to your local Best Buy or other large retailer, and try a new battery pack!

You maybe need a new battery pack for the camera, because after a year and a half of constant charging the battery pack will surely die, but i don't know how regular you charge your camera, so i can't say for sure if it's the battery pack. You can carry it by any electrical repair shop and have them check it out for you, they should know what's causing it to do that.
