Why are jobs doing only electronic applications?

Why do jobs ask you if you have ever worked for them on their applications?

  • i have worked at this place before and quit after a week, now i want the job again but i feel if i tell them i have worked before and quit after a week they wont take me. what would happen if i just answer no to that question and play it off as if i had never worked their before

  • Answer:

They'll find out then fire you for being dishonest.

companies that promote from within sometimes request you fill out an application for another job even if you already work there. also if you have been laid off and you are re applying it may speed up your hiring process

tey want to know if they have rejected you or fired/layed u off before. that information seems prety reasonable

it probably makes it easier for them to run a background check. or they just want to be nosy idk. but if you quit why do want the job back anyhow?

You can write in 'yes' with an explanation. Just say that you had two job offers at the same time and later realized that this job was a better fit for you than the one you took. Good luck!

If you provided your ssn and if they hire you again, once they start payroll you previous info might come up. So they will find out you worked for them before. If its like a call center or restaurant they probably won't mind if you quit before..they might rehire you.
