Whats the best way to learn medicine?

  • Im a medical student and im about to really start learning and practicing clinical medicine. Which is the best way to learn medicine besides practice- im asking about the theory part now. Ill be studying by my self (no lectures) because right now we have surgery not medicine however finals in medicine is coming up and i need to prepare. So should i read case stories and learn around those or should i just read chapter by chapter in my medicine book? please only answer if you have personal experience. Thanks in advance

    the best way I found is to see patients with a certain disorder then go and read all about that and related conditions. I found that it stuck beter than just readind a text book. Hope that helps I have been in medicine for 30 yeears and still find associating facts with patients the best way to remember. Goog luck
