How is Drilling for oil damaging the Environment?

Do environMENTALists even care that NOT drilling for oil is more harmful to the environment than drilling it?

It also explains the Exxon Valdez incident, Exxon wasn't responsible in any way, it was because we never drilled there and the oil tanker must have ruptured something, causing the oil to pour of the Earth. It's called abiotic oil, and it must be true, because peak oil is baloney.   LOL! Yeah, right. Deepwater Horizon was the oil's fault. If that's true, why is it that the ocean isn't full of oil that's leaking from all the other places where it's building up? Exxon Valdez dumped its cargo. Nothing on the sea bed ruptured - only a ship-full of oil spilled. Abiotic oil is a Soviet theory, favored and popularized in the Soviet Union by Stalin, that doesn't match what we know about oil reservoirs. If abiotic oil was true, we wouldn't have reached a peak anywhere in the world, yet something like 85% of the world's oil wells are at or past peak. I think you need to stop reading and believing the ravings of nutters.
