How to quit gracefully just after getting promoted?

Extremely nervous about getting promoted?

• Ok so I know that im about to sound like a huge vagina and wimp for saying this...but i am absolutely terrified of getting punched..i always have been. i cringe just thinking about getting hit anywhere on my body. anyways, im a E-2 (PV2) right now and i am getting promoted to E-3 (PFC) this Teusday. i came in as a PV2 so this is my first promotion and i heard that when you get promoted, everyone who outranks you gets to hit you in the chest as hard as they want...ive even heard stories about people getting their ribs, sternum broken and even a collapse lung. I am very worried about this and cant stop thinking about Teusday. i dont even wanna think about how bad its going to hurt getting hit by literally everybody in my platoon (27 guys, everyone outranks me). is there any way i can avoid this or get out of it...or am i just doomed to have a very sore chest the following weeks and maybe even some broken ribs/sternum?
