No friends at all. How to cope with depression?
-
Basically, I have none. Its seems that since university started, I've been losing all my friends and apart from my boyfriend, I now have no one. It is really starting to get me down because I suffer with depression and so it would be nice to have someone to talk to. I live with 5 other girls and they all hate me for whatever reason. I'm not a horrible person either, people just don't seem to like me. :[ Depression, university, friendlessness. How can I cope without putting it all on my boyfriend?

Answer:
Its okay! I know Im still young (12) but I went through depression in sixth grade. It was insane! I felt like the world was going to end because I didnt want to get up. I would stop doing homework because it stressed me out to the point of crying hysterically and on top of it all I felt like I had no friends that I could trust. It gets better. I know thats really cliche but it does. I got over my depression in the summer because I had a job and had to get up at around 8:00 a.m, one of my old bestfriends got back in touch with me and I started to ride my bike everywhere. It felt great! Its not so nice now considering that Im a semester into the grade but its not like last year where I couldnt laugh and all I wanted to do was cry. Just try to get back with your old bestfriends. Clear your depression with excersize (again I know that sounds cliche but honest to god it worked like a charm with me and I got my body back ((you know stress eating))) Good Luck and if you ever need anyone to talk to Im here just message me. Im here and I know exactly what your going through! Love, J.S

People are just people. You can be the nicest person in the world, or the biggest bad ***. It doesn't matter, some people will dislike you regardless. I have a feeling that some of it actually has to do with genetics, more than actual psychology. It's much like love. At any rate, you just have to find some people that you can tolerate, and that can tolerate you as well. It's a rare occurrence, but as long as you're respectful and shown respect, it can happen anywhere.

Awwwww god love you that's such a sad story. Some people can be self centred, obsessed with themselves arrogant etc...particularly at university which is why I guess you have chosen not to have these sort of people in your life. You could try volunteering its a great way to meet like minded people with a kind heart. Failing all that you could always mail me for a chat. Take care and keep smiling.
