What's the best medicine for diarrhea?

My mom has low body temp and fainted, threw up, and had diarrhea. Help.?

  • I was called into my moms bedroom at 3 A.M. and she had told me that she was not feeling well. She told me she had woken up and felt her stomach turn and felt really hot so she ran to the restroom and immediatly started throwing up and having diarrhea. She told me she thought she was having a heart attack so she tried to go get her blood pressure medicine and said she fainted and woke up on the floor next to her bed and noticed she had soiled herself. She said that was when she changed clothes and called me into her room. She has been sick for the past few days and said her temp has been around 96.5 for the past few days and she hasn't been feeling well... I am scared and do not know what to do. Anyone know whats going on?

96.5 can actually be a normal temperature for some people. Now to focus on the other symptoms. Get her powerade or gatorade both are very good with restoring electrolytes to help with vomiting and diarrhea. Make sure that if she eats make her calm foods, like white rice and beef low spices no more than just salting it lightly. The symptoms could actually be due to food poisening or a virus. If it's a virus she must straddle to working to get over it. If after a day or two the symptoms don't improve head to a ready med or emergency room.
