Can bacteria in your urine mean you have an std?

  • I got two medications for a uti, and neither did anything, I even drank a ton of water while taking them. He said there was bacteria in my urine and a little blood, but I was spotting a little bit at the time so it could have been that. It doesnt burn when I pee, my urethra burns randomly in the day, and it burns even worse after I shower, and then it itches after the burning stops. But it doesnt happen everyday, and some days the burning is so bad I want to cry. Could it be Gonorrhea or Chlamydia? I got tested for it yesterday and its going to take a couple weeeks to get the results. I also have been bleeding durring sex, but I think thats from my depo provera birth control shot. I've only slept with one guy, my boyfriend of 6 months, and hes slept with 5 girls other girls in the past and has never been tested, but he does have hpv genital warts.. I'm worried, what is wrong with me? Ive been cramping a lot too and have had really sore breasts.

    Hope u got a blood test too and told the dr about your boyfriends warts. You know they don't need to be present for them to be passed, right? Ask to be tested for everything in the book! Herpes is too common and burns/ stings like hell especially when you pee!

having sex w/ a guy w/ an STD, hopefully you're both taking proper precautions so you dont become infected. I too had a burning sensation when I caught herpes from a girl. Glad you got tested, did you discuss whats going on w/ your doctor?
