If you've had bronchitis is it recommended to take out your tonsils?

I had a form of bronchitis and now I think every time I get sick I have bronchitis. If I took out my tonsils would I decrease my chances of getting sick

It does not make a difference, I get sick ALOT with bronchitis, got my tonsils removed and it hasnt changed a thing. The doctor gives antibiotics regularly which he said wasn't the best thing to regularly take. But go to your doctor and hassle him/her with questions like that.

No and bronchitis affects your bronchial tubes not your tonsils. However, if you have chronic tonsillitis you are more prone to bronchitis due to the bacteria manifesting. So no if you have bronchitis they don't recommend you take out your tonsils. They actually advise you to get on an all fruit and veggie diet for a few days. If you don't believe me google it.
