How to get rid of my diarrhea?

  • hello I took some of my brothers adderall 4 days ago by accident. I did not check the bottle and I assumed it was my medication (Tylenol 3) for my sprained ankle. Ever since I took the 15mg adderall I have been having diarrhea. The first day it was very loose stool and the other 3 days it has been softer stool but it has been green. Im starting to worry if I have a serious infection or unbalanced bacteria count in my intestines. I don't know much about this stuff, but I have been reading up on it. Please help me, I am very concerned about my health. Thank you.

    Immodium is an anti-diarrheal over-the-counter medication. It works pretty well, though you may have to take more than one dose. There are some foods that might help too - stick with the B.R.A.T. diet for a couple days (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) and see if that helps. Hang in there, it probably is just taking your system 2-3 days to get rid of the adderall. Drink lots of water to flush out your system. You can call your doctor and ask to speak with a nurse - that may give you more peace of mind than us amateurs on Yahoo! :0)
