Does anyone know some exercises to slim arms?

Anyone know of a website with exercises for a beginer or know a good exercise routine for a beginner?

  • not necessarily a beginner but for someone(me) still in the amateur phase of exercise training. i mean, i know how to do push ups and jumping jacks, and etc but i need a starting routine that i can stick with and increase the intensity as time gradually goes by. everytime i decide i want to get in shape and get toned i dive right into different exercises with no planning involved. i dont time myself, i dont stick to a routine i just jump in with the belief that i'm going to lose weight and become toned. the longest i've gone with that is a month and that was last summer. then i just get tired of it and quit. any help? and i dont want any help with diet pills or anything. i want to do this the natural way.

Check out 7chan. They have a fitness board there, and they can help you with that. BUT READ THE STICKY THERE! I WILL NOT be held responsible if you get banned for a stupid question. Yes they exist.

First, don't give in to any fad diets (a colon cleanse is not going to help you or make you lose weight). I would start slowly and the best exercise, in my opinion, that is cheap, easily accessible and isn't hard on the joints is walking. You can do it 10 minutes a day 3 x's a day or 30 mins each day--the goal is to get your heart rate up. I also swear by yoga and Pilates (for sculpting and toning) and have been a student of yoga for 10 years. I love it! This might help you get started http://buzz.prevention.com/walk-perfect-for-better-results/ Walking is great and I love it. I also hike (if you're close by to trails etc) and being outside is really great. If you have bad weather, you can always join a gym and walk on the treadmill (if you can afford a gym membership). If you want to stick to a routine, I suggest you keep an exercise log. There are lots of free sites online that can help you and where you can log miles and physical activities (and lots of networks/people to support you along the way). Best of luck. :)
