Stannous fluoride vs Sodium fluoride?

Which is better for tooth pain after whitening? stannous fluoride or sodium fluoride?

  • I used crest white strips and now my teeth are in sever pain! I read that sensodine would help but ive used it 3 times and they are still throbbing. I read that fluoride would help but there are two different kinds.....which one works better to sooth the pain right away?

  • Answer:

Actually it's any product with potassium nitrate as an ingredient. It's the main sensitivity fighter. You could also use a fluoride varnish which is a 5% sodium fluoride that you paint onto your teeth and leave on. You can still eat and drink with it on, it's like a protective layer!

Fluorine is a neurotoxin and so if it in fact relieves pain it would do so by killing the nerves. Fluorine has a high affinity for calcium so when you use sodium fluoride, the fluorine releases the sodium ion in favor of reacting with the calcium in your teeth. Unfortunately, calcium fluoride is naturally a yellow or brown color, so it would effectively reverse the teeth whitening process and return the yellow tarnish you just removed. I know this from observing pictures of dental fluorosis: https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1CHMZ_enUS330US331&aq=f&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=dental+fluorosis+pictures Fluoride is just a scam. When the dentist cleans your teeth and gives them a fluoride bath, the coat is too thin and all you see is the cleaned teeth. Then as you reliably used fluoridated products, your teeth yellow and thus require you to come in for another cleaning. It's no different than a mechanic punching a hole in your radiator to ensure that you have more engine trouble and come back to spend more money. Speaking of which, have you ever been to a dentist that didn't poke your teeth real hard with a sharp metal instrument? Is it coincidence that the next time you came in for a check-up you had a cavity right where he poked your teeth? But most people don't pay that much attention or even remember their previous annual check-up. The notion that fluoride is useful as anything other than poison is a fallacy and a fraud. Stannous fluoride is the compound of tin and fluorine. Just as I described above with the sodium fluoride, the fluorine ion will release the tin molecules and attach to calcium. The calcium in teeth form chains and crystals which the fluorine ion breaks, resulting in a coating of loose calcium-fluoride shingles which build up to a yellow/brown coating or slough off further eroding your enamel. Some of the fluoride and tin or sodium that is released into your mouth may be accidentally swallowed, while a large amount is actually absorbed sublingually. The body requires a lot of water to flush out this toxic calcium-fluoride, but if the water you drink is also fluoridated, it's like trying to rinse off mud with more mud. Your body ends up storing the fluoride in various glands to keep it out of the blood stream and away from nerve cells. Did I mention fluoride is a neurotoxin? You lose IQ every time you use fluoridated products.
