Red bumps on my tonsils?

Swollen tonsils/ bumps in the mouth?

  • For the past week I'v had bad headaches and high fever. Along with swollen tonsils. I also have 6 little bumps in my mouth; tongue, on the back of my lip and on the crown of my mouth. Is this norma?l Does this require any visit to the doctor? Any recommendations?

  • Answer:

Anytime your have a high fever you should consider seeing a doctor. And just so you know 'high fever' would be over 101. If you've got a temperature of 99 you should take some over the counter fever reducer and gargle with salt and warm-hot water to reduce the swelling in your throat. If this is something that occurs more than 4 times a year you should consider having your tonsils removed.

No it isn't normal, & you may want to consider seeing a doctor... You could have tonsilitus, being swollen tonsils, you could also have strep throat.

Alyssa

You should go see your physician.
