Whats the best way to get tickets for a popular band/artist?

Has anyone been to a sell out concert and had really good seats or were standing? Whats the best way to get the best tickets? I don't know wether to go to a ticket center or buy them online from ticketmaster

Ticketmaster. Cuz when you sign up, you can enter your favourite bands and they will send you updates and the like. . and let ya know when the bands are playing.

Either know someone in the band or crew, or a radio personality. Or go to ticketmaster and be the first in line when tickets go on sale and STILL get tickets in the last row.
