Why more important computer files are hidden?

I can see the hidden files on my ipod on my new itunes, but cant copy them to a file on my computer?

• i can now see the hidden files, i can go on my ipod through my new itunes on the new laptop and see and listen to my music that is on my ipod. but i can copy it? the next step on something i was reading to help me was to copy it to a file on my computer. does anyone know what i can do, coz this is driving me insane! cheeeers!

  I'm not sure why you want to copy the hidden files. You can copy the music from the Ipod to the computer using RealPlayer and iTunes, just not those folders.You have to use Explorer to copy the folders. open Explorer (use the run Command if it cannot be found in menu - Explorer.exe Select the device and in the right pane, select all folders (Ctrl A) copy then paste to computer. You cannot put files into those folders manually. You must use a program like itunes or Realplayer as a playlist is created and shortcuts also so that it shows what is playing.
