What are some good dual credit classes to take?

Is it better to do the IB diploma or to take college credit classes?

• I dont know if i want to do the IB diploma because it seems like an extremely large amount of work, but i am definetly willing to do it if it pays off. Does it get you more scholarship money? Or is it better to just take college credit classes?

  You shouldn't base your decision on the workload that comes with IB. Is IB stressful and challenging? Yeah, there's no doubt about that. But you know what, so are other things in life, including college. I know first hand how stressful the program can be, but you know what? You spend so much time with the people who are in your IB class, that you become like a small family. You build friendships with people who you probably never would have interacted with had it not been for IB, and it's because of these friends that the coursework becomes bearable. Not only that, but the workload prepares you for college. I remember my first "big" paper in college had to be six pages long, and all my friends were freaking out and stressing over it. It helped me feel confident with big assignments, and it helped me practice time management. On top of that, IB makes you take courses that you might not have even thought about taking had it not been for IB. Sounds bad, doesn't it? But we all know how lately, colleges have been focusing less on the test scores and more on how well rounded you are. Sorry for the SUPER long answer! It's just that, as a former IB student, I really can't stand when people encourage others not to join IB because of how stressful or challenging it is lol I wish you the best of luck and I hope I at least made some difference in your decision :)
