What are market research groups?

Learning investing in india equity market? What channels, research, groups, study materials to explore?

• I have been doing investments in India equity directly with some research reports published by stock broking companies etc I am interested to find good education material, research channel subscription or groups...that will help me get going with some serious investments in Indian quity at large? Any suggestion please?

  You can do your own research by looking at the company's website, financial info, etc as well as analyze financial ratios published in websites/research reports. However, take these research reports as one piece of info, because these are expert views trying to take a view on future which can yield gains or even go absolutely wrong. So dont take it at face value. I wont recommend any subscription, instead you can buy magazines like capital market or dalal street when you to read or refer (not necessary to subscribe). You can also check out the year book (digest) published by capital market, dalal street or equity master. Buy only if you are comfortable and find the information useful enough for you. These materials and information are relevant assuming you are investing for medium-long term.
