How do you check your credit over the internet with out getting charged if you have no debit or credit card?
-
Well I currently want to get my first apartment and move out of the house but I want to make sure that my credit is good due to the fact that I believe there is fraud going on with my credit because of my father had my social security number. I am receiving bills that are places I have never been and I want to know how I could have my first credit check with out having to pay because I have no credit or debut card to send any bill to for checking my credit. So what do I do and if things don't seem right were do I go?

Answer:
annualcreditreport.com is THE official free site for the legally-mandated access to one free credit report each year. You can get one report a year from each of the three major agencies, so could get one every four months if you alternate between Experian, TransUnion and Equifax. http://annualcreditreport.com Get all three credit reports at once if you suspect fraud. You might have to file a police report for identity theft, and be sure to dispute any items with the credit bureaus that appear on your reports but which are not yours. Also place a Fraud Alert on your credit report through the bureaus. That will keep further credit accounts from being opened using your ID without verification directly with you. FICO Score is different and you have to pay to get it from FICO, formerly known as Fair Isaac, the company that developed the FICO score, available at myfico.com. Bankrate.com has free estimators of your FICO score, as well as volumes of useful personal finance information. http://myfico.com http://bankrate.com http://www.cnbc.com/id/38204299

You can take a look at your credit report on annualcreditreport.com without having to pay once a year. Your FICO score does cost money though at myfico.com
Under US law, you can get a free credit report from each of the 3 credit companies once per year. The only website authorized by the FTC for such reports is https://www.annualcreditreport.com/
All websites threw trans union, equafax, and experian are free once a year. But you must sign up for there free 14 days trail. And you have to cancel the trail within 14 days (after you see your credit score) or it will automatically sign you up for there monthly service witch is $14.99 a month
