Whats causing a clicking on my car engine?

I have a 2004 Ford Escape, 3.0L DOHC V6 Duratec engine. It has recently started "clicking" around the belt thats on the left( drivers side) side. I can't tell much about it without removing the cover to it. Its not the main belt on the right. It appears to be a smaller/shorter belt. Can anyone tell me what this belt goes to? Possibly a diagram for it?

Clicking/marbles rolling around sound could be a bad bearing for water pump or alternator or some pulley. Your discription is very vague, call a technician.
