How to become emotionally resilient?

Sometimes when my mom and I fight, I get really upset and want to cry. Same thing usually with small petty things and it's like it's enough to send me over the edge. I need to learn how to become emotionally resilient. Basically how to not let my emotions show, how to not let things bother me, and how to basically become emotionally numb to everyone around me.
